I am listening to July 4th's Bush's speech today on Iraq and he has said our goal is to help Iraq protect its people.  It sounds like a peacekeeping mission to me - can anyone say UN? - and not a "war", therefore, those who are being stop lossed are truly indentured servants not only of the United States but Iraq as well.  We were in a Civil War once and we came out ok.  Its time for the Iraqi people to stand up for their country and take responsibility for protecting their own people.  Think about this:  If troops truly want to serve in Iraq, there should is no need for stop loss.  Me think the Army doth protest too much.

Too all of our soldiers, past and present, I say "thank you for your service to our country".  You are all heroes and our country is blessed to have had and to have you.  HOOHA!
