I was greatly honored that Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey chose to quote me on the House floor.  I agreed with everything she said about the civil war in Iraq.  Ten billion dollars would have brought our kids home.  So to Congresswoman Woolsey, I say "thank you" for not only recognizing that this is a useless war but also recognizing the fact that the stop loss policy is a policy that needs to end.  I no longer call myself a Republican.  I am American.  I will vote according to my conscience and not a party affiliation.

      earlier this spring we were hit by a rocket attack. a friend of mine, who would have been already on terminal leave (using the last of his leave days). became a double leg amputee while he slept when one rocket came through the wall level with his bed. he just came home from seeing his new baby the day before.
      meanwhile we see our leaders on the news telling how good morale is, that the mission is clearly understood by all(none of us have a clue, and we are willing to stick it out. they, like bush dont listen to whats going on and make up whatever they want you to hear.

      thank you again for fighting a good fight on behalf of all of us who already did and want to go home.

        I promise you that I am going to do all I can to end this unfair and unconstiutional policy.  It breaks my heart to hear about your friend.  I know that you can't but tell all of your family and friends to start writing their congressman and senators.  This needs to stop and they are the ones who can stop it.  God bless you!
